Well how is your season going so far??

So far to date, I have shot an Alaskan Moose on video. I have captured a lot of video of some fantastic deer and had the opportunity to hunt with my favorite fisherman, Gman. The season is not over until December 31st, so wish me luck on the big boy! I am going archery only this year because I have never shot a 160+ with my bow...I have shot some nice 140" bucks but nothing bigger...so its now or never.

What about you guys...how has your season been?

It's been good My oldest son and I have both killed good deer and my youngest, well he's missed but still hunting. ( It's a little more exciting now that I'm making him shoot them with a bow. I think he may have got the fever a couple of times.)

    Congrats on the Moose.

Very nice pronghorn buck and two does in Wyoming (Sept).
16" wide six-point cull whitetail buck in October (Oklahoma).
18.75" wide 7 point in November (busted eye guard -Arkansas).
One big javelina stud boar in November (south Texas).
One good eater size feral hog in November (also south Texas).
Only been duck hunting once this season, but took a novice hunter and got to see him take his first duck.

Been a pretty good year so far...

sounds like everyone has had a great season so far. I think its awesome that we are all here together as hunters.

we should get together and have a BBC hunters rally? Go pheasant hunting or duck hunting somewhere. I love to travel so that is right up my alley.

    What your thoughts guys??

After messing up on a couple nice bucks I got a nice 10 pt on nov 3 with the bow. I didnt see a lot of deer but saw deer on every sit except one during the bow season. Gun and muzzleloader seasons were horrible, I saw a tiny 6 pt buck on opening morning of gun season and never saw another deer after that in 7 or 8 sits, I also sat 5 or 6 times with the muzzleloader and never saw a deer. Ive had gun seasons that were bad before but this was the worst ever for seeing deer.

What your thoughts guys??</td></tr></table>Tyson that would be a great idea. Maybe get together for a dove hunt next season. that away it wouldn't cost too much for the out of state hunters, and it would be more of a meet and greet type of hunt with plenty of action for everyone.

Mines gone good so far. I got a real nice bear in Colorado and a 125" whitetail so far. I have a month of deer season left but haven't really been since muzzleloader ended a few weeks ago.

My Son and I are having a pretty good season so far. My Son got his first with a bow (9 point) and a 211# bear. I shot my best buck to date on the first day of rifle season (8 point). Heading to Ohio Sat. and Sun. for the extended deer season. I will be in Southern Ohio in Jan. for the muzzle loader season looking for a good buck there.

Had been terrible up until this weeknd came to ease the pain of the 24 inch 8 pointer being killed that I had been hunting. Took 7 so far this year including the 8 I shot earlier with my bow that got away until this past Saturday evening, even still had the rage and about 8 inches of arrow stuck in him, and the split main beam 10 pointer I took yesterday morning. That definantly eases the pain a little but doesn't make it go away.

I guess it's hard for me to judge how good a bear it really is not having anything to compare it too. The only other bear I have ever been around was one I follow up shot for a guy in NC and it was about 150 lbs or so. Here is a better picture of her. Did ya'll end up not going to Colorado this year?
