I am shooting a New Z7 Extreme this year and have never owned a Mathews with that feature. Should the rubber boot on the end be against the string at rest? Mine is about a 1/2 inch from touching.

I would have to look when I get home but I think it touches.
Sorry the link did not work, did last night. Yes Mathews recomends adjust carbon rod untill spring saddle lightly contacts bowstring.

I added one to my DXT (LOVE IT) my string is about 1/32 off the stop.....make sure you have some serving on the string where it hits.

I have a Mathews DXT. Is this some kind of add-on? Since the link did not work, what does this do?
