Guys,
I am in the process of replacing the power pack on my 1994 Johnson Venom 200 hp. The model number on shop.evinrude.com is showing me power pack mod no. 0584636. I found the same part at Boats.net for about $100 cheaper. I put the order in, but they are saying that part has been superseded by a newer part no. 0586661. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? I tried calling evinrude tech support but they don't answer questions on models after 1997. I appreciate your guys' help.
