Need Load for 44 Mag

i bought some 200 gr Cast Bullets for my 44 mag .. all my reloading books don't have a load for the 200 gr Cast Bullets .. anyone have some Data on this

What is your desired load? Store bought lead bullets pushed too hard are gonna lead like hell. What kind of powders do you have?

i just want a load to plink with,,, JHP are around a 25 cents a round ... i have 2400 and H110

For plinking rounds you can't beat Unique. Just have to be careful not to overload. You want to load about 10.5 to 13 grains. If you use H110 or W296 you need to be sure not to underload. I don't have a book with me right now but that is somewhere around 22-29 grains. At those speeds soft lead bullets are going to leave lead something fierce. If they are hard cast or have a copper gas check you can run them full speed.
