I am looking to finally buy a trail cam. Currently looking at the Primos Truth Cam. Anybody have any info on them? I am trying to find a good camera for $150 or less.
I have a good friend that has tried quite a few. He tells me that a Remington brand camera has by far been the best dollar value that he has found. He's had fits with Cuddeback (sp?), and Bushnell brands.
He sends me pictures all the time. I will try to find out the model# on the Remingtons that have been so good, and post it.
Yeah I would appreciate that info on the Remingtons. Thanks.
wildgame innovations ir4 are great cameras for there money

If you read the reviews at the bottom they have pics people have posted.
I can get it for $75 dollars new. What do you guys think?
I've got to second the wildgame innovations IR4. I bought one and put it out about a month ago, I've gotten about 150 pictures off of it and the batteries are still at a half charge (by the meter on the camera). Bought a Moultrie D50 last year, the flash only worked for a few weeks and then the camera didn't work at all when I pulled it out to hang it this year. Hope this helps!
Only bad thing about the IR4 was we had two where the battery tabs broke. Not a big deal - just rewired it to a big 6 volt battery. The c cells did not last more than 3-4 weeks. Aside from that it's a good camera for the money. I think the new IR8's have an external battery port.
i have heard that some of the primos cams makes a ticking noise when it takes pics but they have fixed it but you dont know if you got a newer version that dont or an older one that does

I have the Bushnell Trophy Cam and it works great. It will take 4 or 8 AA battiers and they last a very long time. I have had over 3500 pic so far with out haveing to change out the batteries.
