I have a 95 200 Evinrude Vindicator with cut exhuast and carbon reeds. The VRO is unhooked. I got the motor back from the shop and they put QL82YC Champion plugs in it. Every chart I checked I should be using OL78YC plugs. Thats what was in it before hand. Is there any reason they would be putting this plug in my motor?
No reason to put a hotter plug in unless you fattened the carbs or something.
No idea? What main jet should be in there? Also I here people talking about running the number 2 richer. Should I do that?
Need to post your model and serial for me to get the jet size for you. Yes, up 2 sizes on the #2.
