Not realy sure other than the black powder barrel looks easier to use with that speed breach plug. I have a pro hunter and love it! I use to have the stainless/camo Encore until our house got broke into last year. They got it, along with all the barrels, 243, 7-08, 50 cal. 22-250 all stainless and camo with nikon prostaff scopes. Along with about 13 other guns. T/C makes some nice stuff! Can't go wrong with any of it.MM
