    Fuel line zip ties

I replaced my fuel line going from the tank to the motor with A1 3/8" on my 98 J150ELECD. Is there anything special about the size or type of zip tie (0320107) used as a clamp at this connection or can I just use a standard zip tie there? The A1 is has a pretty stout wall thickness and I worried it won't seal well with a zip tie.

Use stainless steel hose clamps on A1 or A1-15 type fuel hose because of its thick outer covering.

You should use only the 320107 tywraps or the Merc equivalent on regular engine fuel hoses where required because they are fuel resistant and have a curved head on them to conform to the hose - regular tywraps do not and can pinch the hose and leak.
