    New water pressure gauge question

I just installed a new water pressure gauge in the dash replacing the old one. The small hose that connects to the back of the gauge was filled with water. My questions are should this small hose contain water? If so do I need to bleed the line at the back of the gauge to make the gauge work correctly? And the last question how would I winterize the gauge late in the fall?

Re: New water pressure gauge question (Retired Guy)

It is normal for water to be in the line and you don't have to bleed it. In the winter either pull the lines off your WP guage and Speedo or I have seen some that put a T fitting in the line that has a valve to open and drain the water. Either way you don't want to store it without draining the water or you will damage the guage and have to replace it next year.

Re: New water pressure gauge question (MNJAVELIN)

I wondered about the water pressure guage but I didn't think about the Speedo.
    Thank you very much.
