    prop installation

    Hey guys.
So I had taken my boat to my dealer to get some things fixed and they sent my prop off to a prop shop to get re-finished..I have picked up the boat but won't get the prop back until next wednesday....my question is how do I install the prop once I get it home. Is it as easy as it may seem, (put prop back on shaft, use bolt to tighten down) ?

Sorry if it's a stupid question but I have never done it before...thanks for any info.

    Yep..... its pretty simple!

I find it easier to hold the wrench and spin the prop to tighten the nut.

You will need a block of wood to hold it between the motor and the end of the blade. I swapped mine out on the campground a couple of weeks ago. Also might want to keep a spare hub kit around, just my 2 cents on that.

    Re: prop installation (csurp)

First you'll put the thrust washer on the shaft, then the prop. You should probably have a small washer to put on before the nut. What kind of prop is it? I ask because all your thrust washers are different and some go on a certain way.
