    1988 Ranger 375V

I recently bought a 1988 Ranger 375V with an E'rude 175 XP. The boat is in mint condition with what seems to be all original equipment. I was wondering if anyone has any performance info or opinions on a boat like mine. I want to install a jackplate and hotfoot, but other than that the boat is perfect. Any info or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Kyle, I had a 88 373 with a XP150... use a 6" j/p with 3 1/2" below the pad, a Raker 24 prop I also used a 25p shooter 4 blade, with the 175 you should see speeds of 62-64 gps by yourself and 59-60 with a 2 people and a tx load... They are heavy boats but they ride great and keep you dry in rough weather.

I have a 89 375v. You can also go to Ranger.com and ask, but I was told to be very carefull about that hot foot. The hull is dangerously close to where you would mount it. Good-luck and welcome.
