***You have to use BLUE CRAB meat***
Not the BLUE SWIMMING CRAB as it will not taste good and is not the same.
Down here in the Charleston SC, you have to ask for it in the grocery stores at the meat counter or at the seafood markets. And again make sure it is Blue Crab meat.
12 oz. +/- of Blue Crab Meat
1 can of regular Cream of Mushroom soup. I use the original Campbell's-not low fat or low sodium.
some vitamin D milk
salt, pepper, garlic powder
In a small to medium saucepan add the soup w/ about a 1/2 of the empty can to a full can of milk, then add the crab meat and spices to your likings. Heat slowly, stirring constantly till you have it simmer. Serve w/ saltine crackers
It makes a dinner for 2 people or an appetizer for about 4 people.
