Re: looking for easy recipe (stratosjoe)

This one was on here before but I couldn't find it with a search...

Put a pork shoulder in your slow cooker (crock pot). Add coke until it's covered. Cook on low for 10 hours. Remove pork (carefully, it's going to be falling apart) and dump liquid from crock pot. Shred meat with a fork and return to crock pot. Add 2 bottles of your favorite bbq sauce, mix and cook on low for 2 more hours.

    Easy and delicious.

Re: looking for easy recipe (Blaze n Bass)

i get a smoke marinade like the one from "stubbs" and mix with some sweet baby rays bbq sauce and some louisiana hot sauce and let the pork sit overnight in it then dump the whole concoction into the crock pock in the morning on low, its done when i get home from work. i drain the liquid and shred the pork. my wife and i don't add any sauce to the meat just on the bun, it is easy, cheap and tastes great.
