1. Crack open a cold beer of your choice. I like Coors cause the can is a bit skinnier than the others. Mic Ultra is too small and dont fit i the holder well.
2. get a good sized chicken.
3. remove from package and wash it in the sink. remove any innards if it comes with them.
4. Take a good swig of the beer
5. peel a small onion and shove it up inside the cavity to basically plug the neck area. it shoudl fit way up in there. trim it to fit if need be.
6. rub chicken with spices. I LOVE Cavenders Greek Seasoning in the yellow can. pour inside the cavity then rub the entire bird down with it. you can use a good chicken rub too. I LOve the cavenders. its great on porkchops, steaks, burgers... and Definately Chicken.
7. Drink beer to about 1/2 can the put in your holder.
8. sit the bird over the beer can and it shoudl rest with the legs right at the bottom.
9. put on the smoker for about 2-3 hours depending on how hot you have yours. you can use the gas grill and get a good flavor, but I prefer the charcoal smoker.
10. open another beer or several and enjoy the smell from the grill.
11. when they are done, I usually quarter them up. be sure not to drink the beer when done. tastes like chit. but the Onions will taste like candy and are one of the best parts of the meal. delicacy!!!!
