Need dry rub recipe for steak

Used to be a south-western restaurant near here that had the best steak.Don't know what they used for a rub though. came out on a sizzling platter was called the San Antonio sizzler.
Both my wife and I would like to find a good dry rub mix to use and was wondering if anyone else cooks steak this way.
Anyone have a good mix to try???

No doubt, the best rub I have ever found for a steak!!!! I but the Montreal Steak by the bucket fulls.....

Rub that stuff all over a rack, inject that thing up with some secret ingredients, put it in a smoker pit for 5-6 hours and add a small piece of pecan every 45 minutes or so...... My favorite meal to cook, no doubt.....

I use something called "Texas Grub Rub". It works great on steak, venison and is awesome on grilled pork chops.

Used many, but found the Mountain Man Bourbon Rub you get at Cabela's is by far the best for our liking.
