Made some of these last night...pretty dang good!
5 pounds chicken wings, cut up and the tips thrown away.
flour
Tony Chacherie's
BBQ sauce of choice (I used the Bullseye Sweet and Sticky)
Tabasco
Honey
Butter
In a sauce pot, melt about 1/2 cup butter. To that, add 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, 1/3 cup honey, and about 4 table spoons tabasco (you can add more or less depening on taste). Warm over medium heat until all ingredients are combined....then as usual, add more of certain things to get the flavor you want...if you hve too much of one flavor, add more of the others to compensate....
Take wing segments and wash well....place in bowl and cover liberally with Tony's. Mix well to assure adequate coverage of seasoning on chicken pieces. roll chicken in four and cover well. Fry at 375 degrees for around 12-14 minutes, or until good and golden brown. Drain on paper towels and place in bowl.....pour the BBQ mixture over fried chicken and toss to cover well....
