Dont ask me why its named this, I do not know, I have had this recipe for years. Its very simple to make and its delicious.


1 box (white cake mix) any brand
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 stick butter
1 cup walnuts (or your favorite)

In a 13x9 baking dish, grease entire dish with butter, add 2 cans pie filling, use cake mix right out of the box and spread on top of cherry pie filling. Sprinkle nuts over cake mix, melt 1 stick of butter and drizzle over mix. Bake at 350 for 30-40 or until top starts to brown.
