    Never Lose your Keys Again

I use a key or id tag lanyard and wrap it around the cables beside the ingition. They will never leave, fall overboard, disappear, etc... I loop the lanyard behind the cable and run the end thru the loop. Done it this way for 30 years and never lost keys!! [img][/img]

an old beat up crankbait works great too. Just make sure to test it out in the sink at home before settling on one. Some keys are heavier than the bait will float.

That's a great idea if you have exposed cables with the ignition switch nearby like the old OMC surface mount controls. Most bass boats these days have flush mounted controls and the ignition switch is remotely located - mine is on the dash.
