    Trim problem......need professional input

I'm running a 1992 Evinrude 3.0 Limited Edition 200.....every now and then my trim doesnt work when trying to trim up.Never had a problem with trimming down,it always happens going up.Most times I can take off the hood and tap on the little black trim box and it starts to work again.Anybody know what might need to be done?
