Johnson part # search - Guru help

    Johnson Fastrike 150
    J150GLERA
    G 0355568

At least that is how it started life. The engine is of the great unknown history. Just happen to come on a recent project boat purchase.

Powerhead has been replaced. Looks to be factory block with plug #484394
    Carbs are T-body #336647 with #433656 front.

Heads are plain old #338311 but compression is great (cold) #115 - 117 across the board.

Question is the carbs - they match nothing I find on the BRP parts web site. Any ideas ???? Could it be a 175 ??? (wishing)

    Thanks

    John N

Try http://WWW.lmmarine.net, they have a parts # search. Also good place to buy parts if your not in a hurry.

Those numbers are manufacturing numbers not part numbers. Pull one of your high speed orifices and see what is stamped on the side that with that you can look at the 175 carbs and check that. Doubt you have a 175 though.

Champ man - the jets are 71D. Just adds more to the unknown. Not 57's or 72's

    Thanks
