    Top cap scuff marks

Might have been mentioned, but I just figured I would post. I did this to my boat about 5 months ago and it has worked out great so I am going to share it.

While I fish I always notice myself or my tourney partner placing a foot on the top of the cap which leads to scuff marks and what not. SO I picked up some clear vinyl from a buddy of mine and cut it to fit the area I wanted to protect. Clean the area well. I used a light soap and water mix. Spray the back of the vinyl and spray the cap of the boat. Lay the vinyl in its spot and I used a heat gun and worked the vinyl over the area. I gave it a few days to dry. BINGO! It works great and you can not see where the vinyl is. When it needs to be replaced just pull it off and replace. I have had it on like I mentioned about 5 months and it has not yellowed or needed to be replaced yet.

Just figured I would pass it along
