The other day fished a tournament, when I got back to shore found my one trailer tire a little low . Fortunately a buddy has a compressor that plugs into a cigarette lighter and got the tire reinflated (the tire wasn't flat, but low) Anyway, no one needs to whack me on the head with a 2x4 ...next day I went out and bought myself a compressor...IMHO just as essential as jumper cables.
In this case, there was a gas station nearby, but my friend was prepared, but if it was somewhere else, I'd be changing tires.
Thought I'd mention it in case others out there don't have compressors, its a good idea to carry them
