    Identifying Rd/Reel Combos

A number of people were talking about using the Reel Covers to help them distinguish amoung their roods/reels in the rod box.

Being severely anal, I have a labeling machine that I use to produce labels for each of my rods. For example if I have 11# Berkley Vanish Transition on a crankbait rig I use - BVT 14# CB - for identification. I use the black letters on white background and it shows up nicely, even in near dark.

I also use the labeler to label each of my spinning reel drums with the type and size line I have on them.

Good idear . I have 3 combos that are nearly identical I cut different color strips from a bumper sticker and put a stripe just above the handle. Pick up the right rod without having to turn around to see which to pick up.
