The rod locker on my new Lowe Stinger did not have the carpet glued in place up in the front. Took it in to the dealer for repair. I still had trouble getting rods in and out of the locker. Took some copper pipe insulation and just slide the rods into the insulation. This keeps the rods from locking together with the rod eyelets and I can leave the line thrugh the eyes without the rods getting snaged with each other.
