    Tackle Organization!!!

I would like to see some options for organizing my 3700 boxes. I keep about 25-30 of them on the boat at any given time. I am looking to manage these into a 2008 Puma. The front deck, if possible!!

I look at a lot of different boats and see the options they have. I had a Triton that had great storage for the 3700 boxes. I see the Skeeter with the line spooling option, which is another good idea.

I guess, I would like to see if there are similar options for the Puma!

I thought that I have seen a rod organizer on here somewhere? Perhaps, someone who makes this sort of thing to boat specs. That may be another option for me, too.

Downsize your tackle, if you have that much tackle in your boat, most likely your not on any fish or a pattern so it really doesn't matter what you have in your boat. JMO

my problem is that my boat is my storage, too. I always keep my stuff in the boat because i dont want to carry it to and from my house when i pick the boat up from storage facility....

Only keep the ones in your main storage up front you will use on a given day then cram the rest away. Other problem with too much tackle in the boat is moisture. Nothing worse than 200 bucks worth of rusty baits and hooks.

I use plastic milk crates. They hold a bunch of boxes and you can move and arrange them at will. There are some that are a rectangle that hold around 10 boxes.
I don't have an idea where you would get them, mine have been around for years.

Milk crates can be bought new from a place in NJ called Admar Plastics.

I downsized a couple years ago & need to do it again! I fish the same water & the same basic baits all the time so whats the point of having all the extra weight if you aren't using them.

holy crap guys.....that is alot of stuff to be packing around. Might want to consider towing a jon boat or a pontoon boat for all the gear.

His spinner bait setup appears to be a "cooks to go tackle system"...you can also use it for crank baits...A great system!!
