    Building Step down

Looking for some ideas on how to build a step down from the front casting deck. My old knees can't take the drop any more. Pics if you have them.

I thought about the same thing, for the same reason....but settled on a step stool that I can fold up and put away when I'm not fishing...

Found it at Wal-mart - holds up to 300 lbs, cost about $15. Very stable.
