i Have a 90 sf175dx that needs front and rear deck wood replaced. i have the top cap off and there is a lot of foam to remove, all storage compartments are glassed around and the rod storage boxes would need to be cut out to replace the deck from the bottom. can this job be done from the top easier? any tips or suggestion?
I would flip the top cap over and then you can cut the old floor out and glass the new one in. SandBarDan did this on his bass boat. Im just geussing but if your bug has wet/soggy floors than your transom or stringers may be bad too.... these old bugs are known to have problems.
