    looking for quality carpet

I need to recarpet my Duracraft, it turns 20 years old this year and the original carpet glue has turned loose and there are some worn spots. I don't like the looks of what BPS and Cabelas has. Is there a BBC sponsor out there with the finest quality carpet and glue ? I don't mind paying a little more for top quality, I'd just like the new carpet to last as long as the original. In 20 more years I hope one of my grandkids will be replacing it again while I watch.

BoatCarpetCentral.com is where i got mine from great carpet and great price. I would have gone with Basscat but the 24oz carpet was just to thick for my lids so i went with 20oz from Boat Carpet Central. If you have room to spare on the lids id say got with Basscat

Look on ebay and search for a user named flooringamerica (http://www.ebay.com/sch/flooringamer...&_trksid=p3686). They sell directly from the carpet plant in Dalton(carpet plant) and Rome(yarn plant) GA.

The carpet brand is Syntec (which is what everyone says BassCat sells). The prices are dirt cheap but the quaility is incredible.

I bought a 6' x 33' 20oz roll for $61 and picked it up in person so no shipping cost, but shipping was only going to be $67 so thats still about half the price of all the other places. They sale many grades all the way up to 40oz (have no idea what anyone would do with 40oz marine carpet but they have it).

    Great folks to deal with.
