Hey guys I got an 89' tracker 17 that is over due for a restore. The hull was decent and dry, but over the last year it's leaking like a siv. I found one crack, and most of the rivets are dripping when I fill the hull. Going to start working on it here before too long, and hope to complete most of it and make it, at the minimum, fishable by the end of feb. I will be posting pics of progress along the way, and also probably going to be asking a ton of advice. Literally pulling this thing down to the aluminum hull and custom building all new decks, livewell, intergrated fuel tank/oil tank, also going to try and get this thing rigged w/some decent electronics and possibly a new TM. The hull has a ton of wasted space as is now, so we'll se what happens. I have a feeling after doing all the mods, I'm going to need to re power to a 75hp since this thing has a 40hp on it now, And I'm going to end up w/ atleast a hundred pounds of dry weight added to it. We'll catch you guys later for now, just throwing a heads up. If you guys have any advice to start out w/I'd be more than flattered.
