    Restoring old pedestal bases (exposed bases)

    I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for restoring the finish on old pedestal bases?

    They are exposed taperlock bases going into a rebuilt deep V boat.

    If they are the aluminum type I would sand blast them and install them raw.

    blast them and get them powder coated
