I looked at some older post and did a little research, but what do y'all think of painting the cowling, midsection and lower unit with rattle cans. Of course 99 percent of it is in the prep work but give me your honest opinions....
thanks

You can use the cans. Some members have done it and had good success.
I paint my lower unit with the rattle can about once a year. Really dont see the point of putting to much effort into the lower unit since it always gets "sanded" on the lake.![]()
Sounds good looks like I will give the rattle cans

OK, since some agree with the cans, do you need to prime it first and then Spray? Should you use a particular type of paint?
guy at the auto parts store said the plastic paint
