1996 Nitro Savage 884 wood stringers

I found some rot in my transom, and before starting repairs I want to know if I need to worry about my stringers also. How can I find out if I have wood or glass stringers. Thanks

if you have a wood transom id assume you have wood stringers kinda pointless to only do one or the other. Anyhow you could drill a 1/8" hole into your stringer and you would be able to tell.

I know back in the 70s and 80s Winner had wood free stringers, but wood in the transom.

I guess anything is possible.
