I know I read somewhere that after spraying the gel coat it needed to be covered with wax paper to cure. I sprayed the first clear coat and taped wax paper over it. After curing about 3 hours, the wax paper is stuck and will not come off.
What did I do wrong? How do I go about removing the stuck paper?

I tried using wax paper to cover up some holes in my transom to keep resin from leaking out. The resin stuck to the paper, I just tore it off and sanded the stuck paper off.
Thanks for the help. I will learn most of this eventually. I have another small hole to repair on the bottm of my own boat when I finish with my brothers boat. At least I will have a little experience by then. Is it much harder to fiberglass and gel coat the bottom of the boat? The hole appears to be about big around as a dime.
