    Need a rub rail

I would like to replace the rub rail on my Stratos 201 Pro XL. I t is a '97 model and years of use have degraded the rub rail(gouges and cuts). Anyone have a ball park price to replace if I have it done by a dealer? Thanks for the help.

Re: Need a rub rail (MoStratos)

Depends if yu are replacing the entire rub rail, or just the insert.
If you're talking the entire rail plus insert, the parts can range from $ 150.00 to
$ 250.00 depending on the grade.
Labor is $$$, figure 4 hours labor at the dealer to remove all the screws/rivets
( around 140 - 180 ) holding the rail on, then replace rail and reinstall all the screws, then install the insert.
Labor charge varies, but $ 75.00 an hour is fairly standard at dealers around here.

Thanks much, I'm not far from Ky. Lake so I'll see if Jet-A=Marine can do it. I'll call them or drop by and have them look at it. Thanks again.
