The clear plastic.. it has a murky look to it..
Wet sand then buff. look up articles about clearing foggy headlights. Most auto places sell kits for it.
Yep the plastic headlight restore kits will do it... Use caution though, as you can imagine the covers on your guages aren't nearly as strong as headlights on a car. I'd do a little research and see what what different companies have to say about their products and procedures for taking the "haze" off clear plastic. Or another possibility is to make new lenses. I've done it a few times with polycarbonate "lexan", you can cut it wit a jigsaw no problem... Only bad thing is that stuff can scratch kind of easy. Good luck with your project.
