Hooking up guages?

Hey everyone over the winter i have been doing a complete re wire of my boat. I now have all the electrical hooked up except for the guages. The ones that are throwing me for a loop are the water pressure guage and the gas guage. The H20 guage has the tubing hooked up to it and a black and white wire hanging down. What do I hook up to these? Are they a + and -? On the gas guage I have a pos. and neg. on the tank and on the guage what do i do with these? I know this might be a little vague but if yall have any question let me know.

the water pressure gauge wiring could just be for the light. your fuel gauge should have one marked for sender.

I am doing the same thing right now on an old BassCat Pantera. About all I can tell you now is that just about everything starts at the Tach. and goes from there. Should be a black wire running from the tach. to the rest of the gauges that must be wired in sequence to each gauge. If you had a clear look at all of it, it would look like any wiring harness and this is where your OEM Service Manual is really valuable as it has pics. on how to do it. Good Luck!
