I had a new carpet installed and it is fraying on the edges on the floor. I bought a rubber tuck to try to reglue and tuck around the floor in the cockpit of my ranger 1999 518. It seems like I need a lip or something to pin the carpet down and also hold to fiberglass around the edges..The tuck I bought is to thin to grab the carpet and I am frustrated. Any ideas?

I think a friend has some carpet edging left over from his recarpet job, rubber stick on type.
or maybe get the edges bound? They were bound on the floor of my 520vx

I thought I read someone on here used a sodering iron around the edges to keep from fraying
If you can get to the edge of the carpet, apply some latex to the cut edge. You can find it at Lowes, Home Depot, or any carpet shop.
