Does anyone know is "3M restorer and wax" applied with compound (white) or polishing (black) pad
Does anyone know is "3M restorer and wax" applied with compound (white) or polishing (black) pad
I used on my boat and since i don't know any better, I used the white terry cloth pads that came with the cheap azz buffer I bought. But taking a guess I would say try both and go from there. It did a good job on my boat. didn't get alot of scratches but did clean the boat up great.
I have done this to two of my boats now. If you have scratches then you will want to take some 1500 and then 2000 grit sand paper and wet sand it till the scratch it gone then buff it out. Be careful not to sand to far. Sand some then dry it off and look for the scratch. If it is gone then you can buff and it will shine like there is no tomorrow.
