I have a 95 Procraft, gold/black and red. It was oxidized badly and looked pretty bad in spots.
Saturday I was supposed to go with my boat dealer fishing but the wind blew us off the lake.
Tom fired up a Makita polisher/buffer and got out some Meguiar Heavy and Light Cut polish.
Ran it on the 1 setting with a small amount of polish dribbled on it. Looks 300% better, it was fun and looks great. Then he set it to 4 and we buffed it fast, made a track came back down it twice and "blew off the powder".
I need to wax it now and do some other things. But I was amazed at what a few hours of light work did to restore the cap. Sorry, no pics.
