    Mildew on boat seats

Hey guys I am sure that this question has been asked multiple times, but I have had my boat covered since late last summer and upon taking the cover off I discovered that my seats have mildew on them. Its mostly on the back of the seats, but I was wanting to know what some of you have found to be the best product to remove the mildew that wont hurt the carpet or the seats.

    Thanks

I used tilex bathroom cleaner just spray on damp cloth and wipe them down then get clean water and wipe behind it, greased lighting works good to don't hurt carpet just dont get tilex on carpet or it will take color out but it works better

I just did this last weekend. I used Mr. Green Mildew Remover from dollar general. Just sprayed it on and let it sit. Then sprayed it off with the water hose.

I had this problem also on my boat. I used a mixture of dawn, clorox, and water. Just sprayed on and scrubbed with a nylon brush then 303'd the seats. They look brand new

Magic eraser works great for boat seats....somebody turned me on to them last year. They are sort of a 'sponge' available at wally world, lowes etc. Best thing I have tried for seats - mine have lots of white sections and with just a little elbow great the mildew spots, bug remains, etc all gone even down in the seams and vinyl texture.

3M vinyl cleaner and a soft brush.
