Ficht 150hp-175hp Curious???

I own a 150 hp Ficht on a 17 ft Stratos. My friend has a 175hp Ficht on a 19ft Ranger. Both of us have been pretty lucky with minimum repairs(knock,knock).

I cant see the difference between the two motors. I have checked internal engine parts like pistons, heads etc...Even checked fuel components and computor part numbers. All the same. Other than the stickers what is the difference in these two motors? This is strange as well...His rig seems to use alot less fuel,both have the same exact prop.

I think its in the programing of the ecm,[computer],maybe some porting difference too
