Ranger 340V Restore Almost done

Well Gang it has been a long and hard 3 weeks but the Ranger looks like new again,Thanks to all the info ya'll have provided during this process with the wet sanding and wireing,hope it lasts another 23 years.Love the older Rangers

Hey,i love the look of this boat. My uncle had one these with a merc racing outboard, Boat was way over powered,he baught it new and had to hang the motor himself because the dealer did not want to be liable!!!! BUT THE REASON I REPLIED WAS FOR THE FRONT TIEDOWN WINCH WITH THE BIG CRANK, THIS IS REAL NICE, I LIKE THE LOOKS OF THIS WINCH. WHAT BRAND IS THIS AND WHERE CAN A GUY GET ONE. THANKS!!!!!

Hey mark,Thanks for the reply,This is the Fulton brand model F2 they are out new and run about 139.00 and are 2000# rated I lucked out and found them at a Boaters World here in town that is going out of business for 59.00 really upgraded the look of the older winches and like it alot ,easies to crank and the handle adjusts to 6"-9" for clearance problems +1 in my book

That looks awsome!!! I want to redo my trailer as part of my boat resto project. Did you send yours out to have it redone? Was it sand blasted or prepped by hand? Painted or powder coated? What can you tell me about the decals and pinstripes?

all the work was done by us and have a friend that works at a local trailer shop.we primed it and them painted it at his shop in the paint booth,then brought back home for all new wiring,leds,and back up light installed,the ranger trail decals came from Ranger and the new winch was bought locally all was done in three weeks time and 10hrs days glad it's over but well worth the effort
