Filling/Fixing small holes in fiberglass hull??

A buddy of mine was screwing in holders for his navigation lights on the side of his rod locker.. ended up once he got done he noticed he had drilled the tips of the screws through his boat and just through the gel coat... there are four holes and are very small, just wondering of what way to guide him to fix it. it is an older boat not wanting to spend alot of money to repair. is there an epoxy we can just fill it with quick and easy??? or are we dreaming

Fill them with Marine-Tex, waterproof, available at any marine store and most auto parts stores.

should we fill them from the inside to outside? or does it matter?

You want to fill the outside so water can't get inside your transom.

If there is no carpet and you can fill from inside do it from there.. If not do it from the outside, just tape around the area with blue tape and work as much as ya can into the holes..
