    3000-10000 rpm polisher

    Hey, I need to know what is the best speed to use on my polisher when trying to bring back the gel coat,I heard some were that I need to use a higher speed to bring some heat to the gel can anyone tell me if thats right thanks Jim

    get a variable high speed buffer, then just simply start out slow, work the compound, and gradually increase the speed... you will see and feel when it is right!

    oh, if you have the harbor freight buffer, setting 3 is usually where i end up when using 3M perfect it rubbing compound.
