    Skeeter Re-hab 1997 zx185c

It all started with having to get a new axel from ez loader. If its going to be off the water, then mine as well do it all. Thats what I told the wife. So I started on the fourth of July, ,after waiting for all the parts. I just finished last weekend. Check it out!

    This is what I got.
On the Interior, On the Engine, , & On the Outside
    - upholstery - New Ignition -New sharkskin cover
    - carpet - Hour meter - Re-built moormates
    - hatch latches - New choke solenoid - New trailer axel
    - Gas Struts - Power trim re-build - Trailer tires
    - Bungees and clips - 100 hour tune-up - Full detail
    - 2 Optima D31m Batteries - Custom stickers
    - New Livewell timer switch
    - New Horn

All in all probably spent 2500 bucks but the bug has never looked so good.

Here's some during construction pics. Wish I would have thought of taking pics before I started, but it looked like hell.

Carpet is real easy, only cost a couple hundred bucks from http://www.bassboatcarpets.com, Then you pick up some contact cement from home depot. Just make sure the grain of the carpet all goes the same direction over the boat. It will look like a different color if you get it wrong. But just like anything else its all in the prep. I sanded all the glue off using an orbital and used 3m marine 5200 epoxy to fill any screw holes in the deck. It looks tuff until you grab a beer and jump into it.

Crazy Elvis did the stickers, he's a bbc sponser http://www.crazyelvissigns.com
