1975 Lucky Strike tri-hull rebuild

Alright, time to get started. This little boat is getting a makeover; new gelcoat, deck, consoles, livewell, baitwell, rod box, transom, stringers, knee braces, permanent fuel tank, almost everything but the hull and gunwales are going. So far i removed the top cap and chipped out all the rotten crap in the transom and floor, and removed 40lbs of foam from the bottom. Today i hope to get the rest of the wood out and prep for the new transom and stringers. I had no idea it took so long just to clean the crap out of the boat. A pressure washer does come in handy.

alright, here we go.. Everything is out, the hull is bare neked. I guess the hard work is over . I guess now is when the fun really begins. Tomorrow i'll get the wood prep'd for the transom and stringers. I gotta wait for the fiberglass supplies to get here before they can be permanently attached to the hull.









The top cap is leaning against the shed. Mind you guys i'm doing all this by myself, and it was a pain pulling the top cap. good news about a 14 ft boat, It's very light. Next update when i have the transom and stringers laid out
