If your boat is going to have a hull delamination problem, shouldn't that show up in the first few, 3-7 years? My glass man is saying impact, insurance says delamination but will look at any documentation or professional opinions that say delam is normally discovered before 11 years of use.

you would think with the beating boat take that delam would show up in the first years.

Any "honest" person with glass experience should be able to clearly tell the difference between impact and delamination. Somehow, your insurance agent just became and glass expert....

The glass man used the term delamination in his conversations, delamination from impact damage is what he was telling me and the Marine surveyor that came and examined the boat. He wrote out a two line statement saying the exact same thing, I would have used a few more words if it were me so I'm taking it too another glass man tomorrow to get his opinion. He may even be able to fix it :)
I would however like to see something in writing that states the normal time fram for a manufacturers defect to show up. I have ran this boat for five years and haven't abused it but surely hasn't been babied.
