370 livewell upgrade?

Well the valves and cables in my 1987 370V are pretty well shot.
So I made a call to ranger parts. $130 later they are shipping out an upgraded version of the vavles cables and control bar panel.
anyone been through this procedure? Iam not sure what I am going to be looking at when the box gets here and I open it up. LOL.

can't help ya much advice wise, but i've been wondering what this upgrade would consist of as well.
my 1990 champ has the original valve cables and i've been told they don't last forever.
i would imagine the job might consist of having to get under the seats and deck a little bit.

btw, do you drive an old bronco by any chance?

i didn't think there could be two jigmisters out there.
havn't been over much lately, but i used frequent projectbronco a bunch. my handle is phillybronco. my internet time usually consists of fishing related material more than automotive stuff these days.
if i remember correctly, you posted a picture of your bronco and boat with matching paintjobs at one point a few years back. i think you were backing down a ramp.
not sure if i'm right about the matching paint, but i remember wanting to go fishing real bad after seeing the pic.

my transmission went south a number of months back and i havn't been driving the bronco much.
its in the shop getting a new tranny put in and the exhaust done right now. i should be back on the road in a few days if all goes well.
just in time to pull the boat down to the potomac next week.

heres a pic of the bronco all dressed up and ready for a fishing trip a couple years back. that little boats been replaced since then, but it was a fun little fishing machine.

I thought I was losing my mind for a minuted there.
PJB is pretty well dead anymore. I do not spend much time there either.
