1985 Ranger 370V Guages and Speedometer Peto Tube

Ok, I think I will need to replace some of the guages, I am gonna need a Speedometer, Water Tem Guage (I have a lowrance, is there a replacement that uses the same sensor), Trim Guage, Tach, the others seem to be fine, need new fuel lever senders, but guage checks out fine. Should I replace all so they match, or can I buy only the ones I need.

I also broke the nipple off the pito tube for my speedo, for the 5th time, any suggesions on how to avoid that, and is there a fix for it other than replacement?

If your anal, get all the guages to match. If your just worried if they work or are on a tight budget, get the ones you need. As far as the pitot tube, my speedo hasn't work for 4 years. I got tired of unclogging it. If I'm worried about my speed (which isn't often), I look at the GPS. I'm toying with the idea of putting a flasher in the speedo hole on my dash.

I have a digital fish finder on the top of the dash, and I had thought about mounting it in the space that is now occupied by the speedo, and temp guage....or maybe buying a new indash GPS.....that would be cool.

I had an idea, wanted to see if it would work......If I buy a new pito, and put a softer hose kinda like windshield washer hose or vacum hose between the hard tubing I have now, and the pito, will that work? Just curious.
