1995 evinrude 150 intruder 60 degree lower unit

My buddy has a 1984 150 johnosn lower unit. Is there any way that will work on mine if I change the driveshaft or shift rod. mine is the 95 150 ev

Yes, you can do this, but if you use the gears from the older case, you need to shim them to the later driveshaft.
